GRADE THREE

  • Regents Park Rehabilitation Home and Mae Volen Center
  • Visits, Holiday letters: two planned visits –, approx. dates: October 30 for Halloween parade, February 12 for delivery of Valentines Day cards and songs; April/May for poetry and songs
  • Mae Volen Senior Center – Halloween event – students dressed in costumes sing songs for elderly

GRADE FOUR

  • Adopt a Classroom at Florence Fuller: three planned visits per year (Oct 16, December 11, May 13) December – proposed Breakfast with Santa on Dec. 11
  • Student led Car wash to pay for breakfast (Saturday October 3)  

GRADE FIVE

  • Youth Activity Center – YAC

Students build buddy relationship through visits, and backpack gift in December – visits in October 8, 2009 and April 22, 2010

Donations for students to include: Back pack and school supplies in December. Students will complete chores at home to purchase back packs for buddies.


 

Lower School and other School Wide events to include:

  • September: Flyer – ‘Bikes for Buddies’ home  for collection in December
  • October – week of 4th food collection for Boca Helping Hands
  • November – Turkey Baskets
  • Various clothing collections
  • December – Week of December 1-18 Spirit of Giving
  • Haiti Collection: Contact in Upper School – Josette Cantave
