Varsity Boys Tennis Wins FHSAA State Title for Fourth Consecutive Year

The Saint Andrew's varsity boys and girls tennis teams traveled to Seminole County to compete in the 2023 FHSAA Class 1A State Championship. The district and regional champions entered the tournament as the reigning state champions with the girls seeking their seventh consecutive title and the boys fourth.

Unfortunately, the girls fell in the first round to True North Classical Academy from Sunset, FL ending their run for another state championship title for the Scots.

The boys battled True North in the state quarterfinals defeating the Titans 4-2. The Scots would then move on to face Out-of-Door Academy in the state semifinals. Saint Andrew's quieted the Thunder sending the defending champions to compete for the state championship title. The Scots rallied in the afternoon claiming their fourth consecutive state title over Pensecola Catholic defeating the Crusaders 4-1.

Congratulations to Coach Reid Rafter and Coach Maya McBride and to the boys and girls varsity tennis teams on another outstanding year for Saint Andrew's.
