2 SA Teachers Receive Apple Educator Certification
Congratulations to academic technology coaches Kelley Briceno and Dr. Carolina Seiden for recently becoming Apple Certified Learning Coaches.
Apple representatives shared that Mrs. Briceno and Dr. Seiden have “gained a deep understanding of how to support teachers as they integrate Apple technology into learning.”
Mrs. Briceno said, “This rigorous process was valuable because the focus was twofold. We were challenged to apply educational technology tools that promote student creativity and voice on a variety of applications. We also took a deep-dive into coaching techniques and best practices.”
Dr. Seiden shared that the journey to receive the certification reminded her of the value of cohorts and the dedication that SA faculty members have for their work.
“Our perspective and coaching approaches are further refined and focused around Innovation and supporting our School's vision and work, as it is defined in our Portrait of a Scot,” Dr. Seiden. “I can proudly say that Saint Andrew’s continues to have uniquely trained and experienced academic technology coaches because SA is dedicated to the mission of providing professional development for faculty.”
