Immersion Week and Path Plus

Our Upper School students enjoyed a week of insights and fun during our Immersion Week and Path Plus — two weeklong end-of-year programs at SA that ran in late May. Both events enabled students to participate in a meaningful, purposeful, and adventurous end to their school years!

Path Plus was an on-campus experience that incorporated elements of the Upper School's traditional trip with Pathfinder Outdoor Education coupled with modules on building positive school culture through team-building, leadership, and introspective activities. Students learned to expand their social circles as they worked with new classmates in carefully curated groups in activities, such as boat building, yoga, letter writing, magic, dance, and safely climbing the banyan trees using protection and proper gear.

Students in grades 10-12 participated in Immersion Week, a week of deep learning that focused on a number of areas, such as Wilderness Advanced First Aid (WAFA), culinary arts, blacksmithing, ice skating, community service, and marine exploration. Click here to view photos.
