Senior Dylan Rogers has Unprecedented Back-to-Back Performances

The Saint Andrew's boys basketball team (12-3) is having the kind of season that may set them up for another deep run into the playoffs. However, the most recent two games were unprecedented performances by Senior Dylan Rogers. The 6'8" center hit a game winning three point buzzer beater on Thursday night only to follow it up with a 42 point record breaking performance on Friday night.

On Thursday night (January 13) the Scots found themselves down 53-52 to Somerset Academy Key in Deerfield Beach. With six seconds left on the clock, junior Jack DiDonna drove the length of the court and found Rogers in the corner. Rogers released the ball just before the buzzer sounded and the rest is history.

On Friday night (January 14) the team found themselves down once again at halftime to Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach. The Scots were struggling shooting the ball from the perimeter but were having success scoring inside against the smaller Thunderwolves. The team continually looked for Rogers who could not be stopped inside. Rogers finished with 42 points and 10 rebounds which broke the single game scoring record at Saint Andrew's set by Jammy Pierre-Louis with 41 points in 2018.

Congratulations Dylan and to the Scots boys basketball team!
