Girls Golf Brings Home FHSAA Class 1A Regional Championship Title

The varsity girls golf team competed in the FHSAA Class 1A Region 4 championship tournament on Tuesday and Wednesday at Crandon Golf Course in Key Biscayne. The girls remained composed and focused after their first round play was postponed due to weather. The Scots came back out firing the following morning claiming the regional championship title by one stroke (298) to advance to the FHSAA Class 1A State Championships to be played at Mission Inn Resort and Club next week.

Senior and Dartmouth commit Hope Hall led the Scots closing out her round shooting an impressive 68 (-4). Hope's solid round was supported by Gabriella Albert and Alana Hall both carding a 76 each followed by Amelie Alcantara (78) and Jennie Pan (80). Congratulations to the girls golf team and to coach Pam Elders. Go Scots!
