SA Seniors Learn Business Tips from Alums

SA seniors and alums came together to network and learn from each other on Oct. 13, during Saint Andrew’s Sixth Annual Senior Career Day.

The event, organized by The Alumni Relations Office, offered seniors an opportunity to learn from various alumni who work in a number of industries.

The day kicked off with a message from Alumni Development Officer Victor Agapay ‘02, who presented on the topic of “how to market yourself to future employers.” Mr. Agapay discussed everything from writing a resume to dressing for a job interview. Students then heard from a panel of five guest speakers, who focused on networking and ways to project a positive, professional image to future employers.

Mr. Agapay encouraged the students to start building their profiles on professional social media sites, such as LinkedIn and networking with parents and alumni within the Saint Andrew’s community. Annual Senior Career Day was created in 2014 by the Alumni Relations Office to help students better understand the importance of networking and to better position them as budding professionals throughout the Saint Andrew’s community.

We are thankful for the following Career Day speakers:

Uri Rahimi '14 - Founder of Rip Technologies and Ecominate

Jake Gottsegen '15 - Business Development at Designs by Chad & Jake

Kendall Greenberg '14 - Associate, M&A and Investments at HumanCo

Paige Kornblue '98 - Founder of Paige Kornblue Media

Kate Delgado '96 -  Owner of Isola
