Varsity Boys Golf Wins The King's Academy Invitational

The varsity boys golf team competed in their first tournament of the year and came home with the championship trophy at The King's Academy Invitational. Sixteen teams competed in a two best ball format of five players. The Scots carded an eight under par (-8) for their team score claiming the championship trophy. The team medalist was Casey Granata shooting a 77 followed by Rene Nicolas (78), Nooa Rissanen (79), Mason Tome (80), and Jake Ross (84).

The Scots are back in action tomorrow at PGA National competing in the Palm League Championships. The boys will also be competing on September 23-24 in the South Florida PGA Championships at Boca West Country Club.
