Varsity Girls Golf Wins Match by 34 Strokes

The varsity girls golf team defeated American Heritage - Delray on August 31 by 34 strokes. The Scots played their best round this season with a team score of 146 (+2) to the Stallions' team score of 180. Amelie Alcantara and Alana Hall led the Scots with a pair of 36's followed closely by Gabriella Albert (37) and Hope Hall (37). The team was rounded out by veterans Jennie Pan (44) and Samantha Weiss (52).

The girls are setting their sites once again on a trip back to the state championships in October by competing in some of the top tournaments in Florida. The Scots will be traveling to Plantation Preserve Golf Course and Club on September 14 to compete in the Palm League Championships. A week later the Scots will compete in the South Florida PGA Championships at Boca West Country Club and then will travel to PGA National to compete in The Honda Classic on October 8-9.
