Senior Sara Snyder Named Florida's Miss Tennis

After a prolific high school career, Saint Andrew’s senior Sara Snyder was named Florida Dairy Farmers’ Miss Tennis on Friday.

The Scots standout earned the honor after previously being named the Class 1A Player of the Year. She won the award over three other finalists, including two locals: Stoneman Douglas’ Candence Brace was the Class 4A Player of the Year, and Pine Crest’s Akasha Urhobo was the Class 2A Player of the Year.

Snyder finished her high school career in a dominant fashion, winning an individual and doubles state championship and helping the Scots win their fifth consecutive team championship. Read more...
