Junior Isabella Watson completes Upper School Independent Study in Pipe and Drum

Junior Isabella Watson represented Saint Andrew’s School (wore the school’s Pipe & Drum Band uniform) at the following recent national Scottish games:

She won first place, gold medal for Amateur Tenor Drumming at the Ohio Scottish Games (February 2021), and second place, silver medal at the Charleston Games (March 2021).

Right before the pandemic, she was able to compete in person at the Southeast Florida Highland Games, March 2020, winning first place and in May 2020 she competed at the first Virtual Highland Games in the US at The Ohio Scottish Games winning second place.

She is a member of the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association (EUSPBA) in which she participates virtually at their monthly meetings.

Throughout the 2020-21 school year, Isabella has met regularly with the Director of Performing Arts Ms. Riffe to fulfill the requirements for her Pipe and Drum Independent Study.

We applaud Isabella for her focus and her dedication to her studies. Brava, Isabella!
