Boys Lacrosse Wins State Championship Title

The varsity boys lacrosse team (16-0) defeated Saint Edward's from Vero Beach 13-5 to claim the Class 1A FHSAA State Championship title today in Kissimmee solidifying their undefeated season. This is the Scots 21st state championship title in the program's history.

The Scots got off to an early lead finishing the first quarter of play with a score of 2-0. Saint Andrew's added another two goals with the Pirates getting on the board in the second quarter with two goals of their own heading into halftime with the Scots up 4-2. Saint Andrew's came out strong in the third quarter with three unanswered goals heading into the final quarter. The Pirates were able to add three additional goals in the fourth, but the Saint Andrew's offense was too strong putting six more goals in the back of the net finishing the game 13-5.

Congratulations to the team and to the coaching staff (Tony Seaman, RJ Dawson, Chuck Miller, Brendan Gleason and Rich Mullen) on another amazing season for the Scots!
