Boys Track and Field Finish 2nd at Regional Meet; 7 Scots Advance to State Meet

Saint Andrew's had ten members of the track and field team compete in the FHSAA Class 2A Regional Meet at Calvary Christian School on Saturday, May 1. The Scots did not disappoint putting in some amazing performances, including new school records and six individual regional championship titles.

The boys captured the runner-up trophy and the girls finished 9th out of twenty-seven teams. Seven Scots qualified for the state championship meet to be held at the University of North Florida on Saturday, May 8.

Ellie Tymorek - Regional Champion (1600m run - 5:13.66 and 3200m run - 11:32.71)
Victoria Schrubb - Regional Champion (*High Jump - 1.68m/5'-6")
Matthew Mule - Regional Champion (800m run - 1:55.27 and *1600m run - 4:13.88)
Ian Noble - Regional Champion (3200m run - 9:49.21), Runner-up (1600m run - 4:19.95)
Will Romac - 3rd Place (1600m run - 4:29.06 and 3200m run - 9:57.46)
Eleazar Martin - 3rd Place (*110m Hurdles - 15.62)
Jeremiah Young - 4th Place (*Javelin - 48.24m/158'-3")
