Track and Field Shines at District Meet; Ten Scots Advance to Regional Meet

The Saint Andrew's Track and Field team competed in the FHSAA Class 2A District 14 meet held at Calvary Christian Academy on April 15-16, 2021. The Scots track and field team had some impressive results. The boys team placed 2nd out of 10 teams and the girls captured the 5th place spot.

School records were broken in the following events:

Jeremiah Young in the javelin 47.14
Haley Meister in the javelin 28.70
Ellie Tymorek in the 1600m run 5:09.78
The boys 4 x 800m relay with a time of 2:11.76 (Ian Noble, Lucas Comparato, Will Romac, and Matt Mule)
The following individuals qualified for the regional meet on May 1, 2021 by placing in the top four spots:
Ellie Tymorek: 1st place in both the 1600m & 3200m runs
Tori Schrubb: 1st place in the high jump
Haley Meister: 2nd place in the javelin
The boys 4 x 800 1st place  (Ian Noble, Lucas Comparato, Will Romac, and Matt Mule)
Matt Mule: 1st place in the 800m & 1600m runs
Ian Noble: 1st place in the 3200m run
Eleazar Martin: 1st place in the 300m hurdles and 2nd in the 110m hurdles
Will Romac: 2nd place in the 3200m run and 3rd place in the 1600m run
Jeremiah Young: 3rd place in the javelin
Max Ettling: 4th place in the long jump
