Saint Andrew's Tennis Defeats Oxbridge Academy in Season Opener

After COVID-19 abruptly halted the Saint Andrew's boys and girls 2020 campaigns to defend their State Titles, the Scots finally returned to action versus familiar district foe, Oxbridge Academy on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. After almost a year long hiatus, the Scots were ready to prove why they felt robbed of the opportunity to repeat last season.

The boys led by #1 Senior and University of Chicago commit, Jacob Lowen, hit the ground running with a 7-0 win. Not to be outdone, the girls, behind Junior Santianna Chrysopoulo at #1, also carded a 7-0 victory over the Thunderwolves of Oxbridge Academy.

The Scots will face two more Palm League opponents next week as North Broward Prep visits Saint Andrew's on Tuesday February 16, followed by an away match at Gulliver Prep the following afternoon.
