Ellie Tymorek '21 Named Cross Country Co-Runner of the Year

As seen in the Sun-Sentinel by Gary Curreri (January 16, 2021):

Boca Raton senior Pia Beaulieu and Saint Andrew’s senior Ellie Tymorek share the Sun Sentinel Palm Beach girls runner of the year honors after outstanding seasons.

Tymorek was coming off a stress fracture injury from last year and won the Class 2A state title this year with a clocking of 18:27.6 at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee. She joins Francisca Rodriguez (2002, Class 1A) as the lone Saint Andrew’s runners to win state individual cross country championships.

A Dartmouth University commit, Tymorek was second at last year’s state meet to Pine Crest’s Tsion Yared, falling by just three seconds despite a stress fracture. Read more...

In addition, junior Stephanie Lucchesi was named to Palm Beach All-County's first team.

Congratulations Ellie, Stephanie, and the girls cross country team on another outstanding season. Go Scots!
