Amelie Alcantara '22 Named Golfer of the Year

As seen in the Sun-Sentinel by Gary Curreri (January 16, 2021):

Saint Andrew’s junior Amelie Alcantara recorded her third straight Top-10 finish at the FHSAA Class 1A state championships at Mission Inn Resort and Club in Howey in the Hills.

It was the best finish for a Palm Beach County golfer in any classification. Alcantara was within striking distance of medalist honors after carding a 3-under-par 69 on the first day, but followed that up with a 77 to finish 10th with a 146. The Scots finished fifth with a 637 after finishing fourth last year. Read more...

Coach Pam Elders was also named Girls Golf Coach of the year with Gabriella Albert '25, Hope Hall '22, and Alana Hall '24 making the first team All-County selection.

Congratulations Amelie, Coach Elders, Gabriella, Hope, and Alana and Go Scots!
