Varsity Girls Soccer Dominates in First Win of Season

The varsity girls soccer team (1-4-3) competed against Highlands Christian Academy on Friday, January 8 securing their first win of the season. The Scots dominated the Knights winning 8-0. The girls have had many close contests this year ending three games in ties against Oxbridge Academy (0-0), Miami Country Day (3-3), and The King's Academy (3-3). 

The Scots' goals came from Ashlyn Goila (3), Stephanie Shen (2), Katherine Goodman (1), Alexa Medellin (1), and one Highlands own goal. Senior Haley Meister secured the shutout for the Scots in goal.

Congratulations to the team and good luck as they face Benjamin away on Tuesday, January 12 at 5:00PM. Go Scots!
