Boys Cross Country Wins Regional Meet; Ellie Tymorek Claims Individual Championship

The Boys followed up their District Championship with a Class 2A Region 4 Championship. The boys had 9 consecutive District titles without a Regional title dating back to 2012. On Friday November 6 at South County Regional Park, the boys finally won Regionals to take momentum into Sunday's FHSAA State Championship Meet. Senior Matt Mule, a University of Florida commit, showed his dominance by easily winning both District and Regional Individual Titles and running the fastest time in the state last weekend. Senior Ian Noble certainly complemented Mule with a second place finish at Regions. Strong results from teammates Will Romac (7th), Chris Warren (14th), Tristan Moss (20th), and Lucas Walsh (22nd) allowed the Scots to beat The King's Academy by a narrow 4 points.
Senior Ellie Tymorek, a Dartmouth commit, is closing out her amazing high school career with another great postseason run. Ellie won the District and Region Titles again and owns the Class 2A's  fastest time going into the State Finals.  As a team the Girls qualified for Regionals by finishing 2nd at the District Championships. However, The girls did not qualify for the State Championships as they finished 7th in the Region 4 meet. Underclassmen Holly Coughlan and Stephanie Lucchessi showed that the future is bright with strong results.

Go Scots!
