The Scots Bots MS Robotics Team Compete in FIRST Tech Challenge Tournament

The Scot Bots, the Middle School’s FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge) competitive robotics team,
competed in their first tournament at Treasure Coast High School on Saturday, December 14, 2019. The team drove and operated their robot in five matches with randomly selected alliance partners. The Scot Bots were the only middle school team at this tournament, competing against 23 high school teams.

The Scots Bots team gained numerous points in each match to secure the alliance win in several matches. Scot Bots are currently 16th in the South Florida League of 33 ranked teams. The Scots Bots hope to compete in January for the last local tournament prior to the South Florida League Championships in February.

The tournament was an amazing success and a great learning experience. Go Scot Bots!
