Yussif Basa-Ama and Joshua Minott Named to Palm Beach County Fab Five

Senior Yussif Basa-Ama and Joshua Minott were both named to the Palm Beach County boys basketball Fab Five.

Basa-ama was one of Palm Beach County’s most dominant players as a junior last year. The 6-foot-9 forward averaged 16.2 points and 10.8 rebounds last season, helping lead the Scots to the regional finals. Basa-ama is committed to Yale, and 247Sports ranks him as the No. 229 player in his class.

Along with Basa-ama, Minott helps form a dominant Saint Andrew’s front court. Minott averaged 11.8 points and five rebounds as a sophomore, earning first-team All-County honors. The junior forward has interest from several schools but is uncommitted.

Senior Jack May was named to Palm Beach's Next Five. Go Scots!
