Varsity Girls Golf Wins District Championship by 32 Strokes

The varsity girls golf team competed in the FHSAA Class 1A District 14 tournament today at Osprey Point Golf Course. The girls dominated the field by claiming the tournament title 32 strokes ahead of American Heritage Boca/Delray with a team total of 286 (-2). 

Sophomore Amelie Alcantara captured the tournament medalist title shooting a 66 (-6). Amelie was followed closely by Gabriella Albert (T2-72), Hope Hall (T2-72), Jennie Pan (T5-76), and Alana Hall (T5-76).

The girls have advanced to the Regional Tournament to be played at Eagle Trace on Monday. Go Scots!
