Cross Country Shines at Spanish River Invitational; Tymorek and Noble Place First

The varsity boys and girls cross country teams competed in the Spanish River Invitational at South County Regional Park on Friday, September 13. The Scots did not dissapoint in their first meet of the season. The boys claimed the runner-up trophy in the Class 2A race with Junior Ian Noble leading the way for the Scots finishing first. Noble was followed by William Romac (5th) and Damien Carlsson (7th) helping the Scots claim the second place trophy.

The girls had a solid showing in their first race of the year with Junior Ellie Tymorek leading the Scots finishing first in the girls Class 2A heat. Tymorek was followed with strong races from Helmi Peipinen (5th) and Lydia Szakacs (8th).

Congratulations to both teams! The Scots are back in action on September 20 at the inaugural Palm League Championships at Tradewinds Park.
