Vote for Coach Tony Seaman Major League Lacrosse Coach of the Year

Click here to vote for Saint Andrew's head varsity boys lacrosse coach, Tony Seaman, for Major League Lacrosse Coach of the Year.

Coach Seaman enters his 8th season with the MLL's Denver Outlaws and first year as head coach. Serving as the team's general manager from 2012-18, Seaman assembled rosters that featured 40 MLL All-Stars, 13 All-MLL selections and seven year-end MLL award winners including Chris Cloutier (Rookie of the Year) in 2018. In his seven years as the team’s general manager, the Outlaws amassed a league-best 66-32 (.673 pct.) record and won three MLL Championships.

At the collegiate level, Seaman coached 85 All-Americans during his career at the University of Pennsylvania (1983-91), Johns Hopkins University (1991-99) and Towson University (1999-2011). He registered a 247-153 (.618 pct.) career coaching record at the college level and his teams reached the NCAA Tournament 19 times during his career.

He is the only coach to be named the NCAA National Coach of the Year at two different schools (Penn – 1983, ’84 and Towson – 2001), and is the only coach in NCAA Division I lacrosse history to lead three different schools to the NCAA tournament (Penn – 6 times, Johns Hopkins – 8 times and Towson – 5 times).

Coach Seaman, who was inducted in to the Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2016, enters his 6th year as the head coach for the Scots.
