Sara Snyder '21 Named National High School Tennis All-American

Rising junior Sara Snyder was recently named All-American by the National High School Tennis All-American Foundation. In her two years at Saint Anrew's School, Sara has helped the Scots win back-to-back state titles at the #1 singles and doubles positions. This year, in addition to winning the team title, Sara won the overall state championship at the #1 singles position and the overall state title at the #1 doubles position with partner Izzy Forster.

To be recognized as All-American a student-athlete must maintain an above average academic record, compete on a high school tennis team, and be highly ranked in the USTA juniors. High ranked seniors, top ranked underclassmen and state champions are considered in that order.

National high school tennis All-Americans include many current and former professional tennis players including Pete Sampras, Kimberly Po, and Aaron Krickstein. Each year All-American awards are presented to the top 40 boys and top 40 girls in the United States. Congratulations Sara!
