Scots Earn Key District Win Over Spanish River HS

The Saint Andrew's girls lacrosse team defeated Spanish River High School 15 - 12 on Tuesday night in an important district contest. The Scots came out firing, taking a 7-2 lead into half time. The momentum changed in the second half as Spanish River chipped away at the lead, eventually making it a 1 goal game at 11-10. As the teams traded goals in the final minutes, the Scots were able to take control and pull ahead by 2 with just below 3 minutes left in the game. The win was secured with 1 final goal in the last 15 seconds. The Scots will face Calvary Christian Academy Thursday night, April 4th at Calvary Christian at 6pm.
