Baseball Defeats District Rival Oxbridge Academy 5-3

The Saint Andrew's varsity baseball team defeated Oxbridge Academy 5-3 on Tuesday at home. Senior catcher Grant Hodgeman started the Scots off with a two-run homerun in the first inning. Hilton Johnson led the Scots with two hits and an RBI. Hayden Carson got the win on the mound with five strike-outs and Cole Derks secured the save for the Scots in four innings pitched and no hits.

The Scots are currenlty 4-2 on the season and 2-1 in district play. The team is traveling away for their next three contests and are back in action at home on April 2 against Saint John Paul II. Go Scots!
