Track and Field Preseason SA Invitational - February 7

At the Saint Andrew's Preseason Track and Field Invitational on Febrauary 7, the girls team placed third and the boys finished fourth out of eight teams entered in the meet. Congratulations to both teams and to the following recognition award recipients:

High Point Award:
Eleazar Martin picked up 18 points for the Sctos in the 110 hurdles (1st), triple jump (3rd), and the high jump (7th).

The following girls all earned 21 points:
Ellie Tymorek earned points for the Scots in the 3200m relay (3rd), 1600m run (2nd), and the 3200m run (1st).
Rachel Harman earned points for the Scots in the pole vault (1st), 400m relay (3rd), and the triple jump (2nd).
Jade Hodge earned points for the Scots in the 400m relay (3rd), high jump (4th), and the long jump (6th).

Scotty Award:
Sebastian Roberts - 400m relay (4th) and 400m run (6th)
Lily Chavez - Pole vault (2nd), 100 hurdles (1st), and 400m relay (3rd)

Most Improved:
Kye Martinovic ran an impressive 200m run (24.85) to place 7th in an extremely fast field.
Morgan Kinne placed 8th in the 100 hurdles and placed 2nd in the high jump in her first meet.

Rookie of the Meet:
Drew Dirksen placed 8th in the 400m run and long jumped 16-6 showing great potential as a freshman.
