Capital projects
Capital Giving plays a pivotal role in sustaining and enhancing the mission of Saint Andrew's School, ensuring a vibrant and transformative educational experience for its students.

INVESTING IN OUR FUTURE
By providing critical financial resources, capital giving empowers the school to invest in state-of-the-art facilities, innovative programs, and exceptional faculty. This philanthropic support enables Saint Andrew's to create an environment that fosters intellectual curiosity, nurtures character development, and promotes holistic growth.

HOW CAPITAL GIVING HELPS
With the aid of capital giving, the school can continually upgrade its infrastructure, expand technological capabilities, and cultivate spaces that inspire collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. By recognizing the significance of capital giving, the Saint Andrew's community acknowledges that investing in the school's future yields immeasurable returns for generations of students, preparing them to excel in an ever-evolving world and to become compassionate and engaged global citizens.
investing in our school's future
This is a time of outstanding creativity and progress at Saint Andrew’s School. Building on decades of success, we are poised for local, national, and international distinction. Our 2022 Strategic Plan points the way.
After two years of planning and construction, Charles and Hagerty Hall, a $25 million facility, welcomed Upper School students in 2025. At 26,000 square feet, it represents a significant expansion of the former Rooks Hall classroom building, providing space and resources to meet the needs of today’s learners.
This leading-edge academic hub features 17 new classrooms, specialized testing spaces, administrative offices, and the Stern Family Learning Center. It also houses the Afsaneh Z. Siadat Faculty Collaboration Center, designed to foster professional growth and innovative teaching practices, and the Shibe Flagler Macfarland Family Student Terrace, a dynamic outdoor space for connection and community. These named spaces, made possible through the generosity of the Charles and Hagerty families and other lead donors, reflect our commitment to both educational excellence and the professional growth of our faculty. We also gratefully acknowledge the leadership giving of The Scott Family Foundation and the Metz Family, whose generosity played a vital role in bringing this vision to life.
