3D Printing at Saint Andrew’s Positions Students in the Driver’s Seat of Innovation.
In the Upper School, 3D printing capability allows students to fully step into real-world roles as engineers in classes such as Design Thinking, Programming, Computer Science, Robotics, Cybersecurity, and even Ethics for Gamers. Students in Middle School Design and Engineering classes use three new 3D printers in the fully equipped Dream Lab to aid with engineering robots parts. In the Lower School Design, Technology, and Robotics lab, students are already experts using the 3D printer for projects led by Mr. Taylor Bergman. Thanks to parents' support of the Annual Fund, students have access to 3D printers—key tools that enable innovation and creativity at the highest level.
