As the reigning 2m District 10 champions and a Lou Groza Team of the Year nominee, the team has achieved significant success under the leadership of their coach, who was honored as coach of the year in both 2019 and 2023.

At the heart of Saint Andrew's football is a deep commitment to building not only skilled athletes but also strong leaders. The team lives by the mission to develop selfless, tough, and resilient student-athletes who are dedicated to hard work, both on and off the field. 

The team’s philosophy is clear: "Do your 1/11th, trust the process, be all in." these principles drive every player to contribute their best. The program rules emphasize accountability, punctuality, and a deep sense of responsibility towards one another.

The goals of the Saint Andrew's football team extend beyond the gridiron. They strive to be the best academic students, make a positive impact in the community, and earn district, regional, and state titles. But more than that, they aim to cultivate leaders who carry these core values into every aspect of their lives.

    Jimmy Robertson joined Saint Andrew's School in July 2016.  
    With over 20 years of experience in education and coaching high school football, Coach Robertson has built a career rooted in leadership, mentorship, and personal development—on and off the field. Currently serving as a teacher and head coach at Saint Andrew’s School, Coach Robertson is committed to fostering a culture of excellence, discipline, and integrity.
    As the head coach of the Saint Andrew's Scots football program, he has developed a philosophy centered on the S.C.O.T.S. values: Sacrifice, Commitment, Opportunity, Trust, and Success. His coaching approach emphasizes building character through core values such as Family, Faith, Academics, and Honor, with program mottos like “Do Your 1/11th,” “Trust the Process,” and “Be All In.” These principles guide student-athletes toward becoming not only better players, but better people.
    In the classroom, Coach Robertson brings energy, empathy, and over two decades of educational experience. He is passionate about student growth, developing strong relationships, and supporting academic excellence. Known for his ability to connect with students across all grade levels, he has become a respected and influential presence in both the classroom and school community.
    Coach Robertson continues to be a trusted mentor, leader, and role model—dedicated to shaping future leaders through education and athletics
