Varsity Boys Basketball
The Saint Andrew's Boys' Varsity Basketball team, under the leadership of veteran coach John O, has become a cornerstone of success in high school basketball. With 40 years of coaching experience, John O has consistently guided his teams to victory, averaging 20 wins per season. His tenure at Saint Andrew's has been marked by an impressive 18 District Championships, including back-to-back titles in recent years.
The team's crowning achievement came in 2020, when they secured the State Championship, further solidifying their reputation as a dominant force in Florida basketball. Saint Andrew's has also been a launchpad for aspiring athletes, with over 75 players advancing to play college basketball. Among the program’s distinguished alumni is Josh Minott '20, who has gone on to play in the NBA for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
