Saint Andrew’s School proudly celebrated its Spring Signing Day, recognizing another outstanding group of student-athletes who have committed to continue their athletic and academic journeys at the collegiate level. These signings represent not only individual achievement but also the strength and diversity of the Scots’ athletic program across a wide range of sports.
In baseball, Michael Tight is headed to Cornell University, while Coy Allman will play at Dickinson College, joining programs that value leadership and competitive spirit on and off the field.
Boys lacrosse continues its strong tradition at Saint Andrew’s with Kian Robbins signing with Centre College, Will Caragol committing to Franklin and Marshall College, Logan Weiss heading to Wesleyan University, and Ethan Sands joining Saint Joseph’s University. Each of these athletes has made a major impact on the program and will now bring their skills and tenacity to the collegiate level.
In soccer, Christopher Ordway will take his talents to Washington and Lee University, where he will contribute to a program known for its competitive edge and academic excellence.
In tennis, Naomi Williams will compete at Bowdoin College, and Ricardo Espaillat will take the court at Lafayette College—both student-athletes known for their strategic play and dedication to their craft.
In water polo, Ethan Kim will compete at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Topher Cook has committed to Connecticut College. Their accomplishments reflect the hard work and high-level performance that define the Saint Andrew’s water polo tradition.
Ethan Friesel, an all-around standout, will play football at Johns Hopkins University, where he’ll join a program known for both academic and athletic excellence.
On the golf course, Laikei (Lily) Wang will bring her talent to Denison University, continuing a path marked by consistent performance and mental toughness.
In the pool, Marcella Orlandini will swim and dive at George Washington University, and Lucas Bailey will do the same at Boston College—both proudly representing Saint Andrew’s swimming legacy.
Girls basketball standouts Delaney Beighley and Emma Smith will take the court at Wesleyan University and Webster University, respectively, where they’ll continue to showcase their leadership and competitive edge. Alex Montes, from the boys team, will continue his basketball career at Vincennes University, a respected NJCAA program known for athletic excellence and player development.
Finally, in squash, twin brothers Alexander and Philip Dartnell will represent the University of Pennsylvania, bringing their fierce competitive drive to one of the top squash programs in the country.
Each of these student-athletes exemplifies what it means to be a Scot—dedicated, driven, and destined for continued success. Their achievements are a reflection of countless hours of training, academic balance, and the support of their coaches, families, and teammates.
