SA Student Athlete Advances to USA Lacrosse Girls' U17 National Combine

Saint Andrew's School rising sophomore Holly Sullivan has earned an invitation to the prestigious USA Lacrosse Girls' U17 National Combine, placing her among the nation's top young lacrosse players.

A member of the Saint Andrew's community since grade 4, Sullivan began playing lacrosse when she was only five, and has developed into one of the country's top players in her age group. She currently competes for Long Island Top Guns, a nationally recognized club program based in West Babylon, New York.

Selected through USA Lacrosse's National Team Development Program, Sullivan is one of more than 100 players from across the country invited to participate in the Girls' U17 National Combine, held July 28-30 at USA Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Maryland. The combine represents the second of three stages in the program, following regional identification clinics held earlier this year.

Throughout the three-day event, participants take part in on-field training sessions, coaching panels, mental performance workshops, and recruiting seminars designed to prepare them for the next level of competition.

At the conclusion of the event, 24 athletes will be selected to the U.S. Youth National Team. Those chosen will represent the United States this fall at the Rivalry Challenge in Canada and the Brogden Cup at USA Lacrosse.
