Video
Video production instruction emphasizes the acquisition of technical skills for video production and the integration of performing arts and visual arts. Students learn how to design and plan for the production of videos and the technical aspects of a live concert.
They write scripts, work with live camera feeds for various school performances, operate studio cameras, write light cues, mix audio, operate a video switcher, compose digital music, digitally film and edit videos, create digital graphics, and produce output in professional formats. Students work in a state-of-the-art video production studio and theater. Class projects include creative assignments using a variety of multimedia software, as well as handling all of the technical aspects for school instrumental concerts.
