Advanced Placement

Saint Andrew’s AP courses are designed to meet the College Board’s stringent curricular guidelines. Enrollment is limited to students who have proven themselves capable of truly outstanding performance in demanding course work. After careful review of past performance, motivation, test scores, and teacher recommendations, students are invited to enroll in AP courses.

Highly qualified students typically take a maximum of two AP courses as a sophmore, three as a junior, and four as a senior; however, some students may exceed these recommended maximums. All students who take an AP course are required to take an AP examination.
