Middle School
Our Middle School (grades 6-8) develops creative learners who take healthy risks in the classroom, pursue passions with confidence, and create global connections in the IB Middle Years Programme. Dynamic, student-centered learning experiences give students opportunities to collaborate, be creative, think critically, problem-solve, and develop authentic solutions to real-world problems.
Helping Students discover individual Passions
We offer strong core academic Math and Language Arts courses, using Singapore Math and Teacher’s College Reading and Writing Project methods to promote optimal learning in these core subjects. Our faculty creates a nurturing environment for learning, helping students discover and develop their unique and individual passions. Our faculty believes in educating the whole child, preparing our students to take on more responsibilities, make good decisions, and develop self-confidence.
During Middle School, we look forward to guiding students as they make the journey from dependence to independence by providing many opportunities for them to develop self-confidence, essential skills, and a love of learning. Our curriculum exposes students to a multitude of opportunities to find balance in their lives through exposure to academics, the arts, and athletics. Innovation and creative thinking are promoted as students develop the ability to collaborate, plan, and analyze. Developing strong character and honor are also core to what we do at Saint Andrew's.

IB: Middle Years Programme (MYP)
The Middle Years Programme (MYP) at Saint Andrew’s spans the three years of Middle School. The MYP provides a framework to help students develop the knowledge, understanding, attitudes, and skills necessary to participate actively and responsibly in a changing world.
