8:00 - 8:15 am – Arrival and Morning Preparation
After my Mom drops me off, I go to my classroom and put my backpack on the hook and pull out my folder. Mr. Shriner asks us the question of the day…. and today’s was “are you wearing blue?” So I answered - I am wearing blue!

8:15 – 8:45 am – Journal Writing
Today we write about what we did over the weekend and we have to use ‘super sentences.’ Instead of saying, “I see a cat” I say, “I see a big fat fluffy cat.” I also draw pictures and put the date in my journal.

After Journal Writing, we separate into two groups….one with Mr. Shriner and one with Mrs. Gottsegen. I am in Mrs. Gottsegen’s group.
