What Sets Us Apart?

Location
Nestled in the heart of Boca Raton, our campus is located just one hour north of Miami and easily accessible by three major airports offering both international and domestic flights (Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach). The City of Boca Raton is fortunate to have a private international airport that serves the recreational and corporate flying needs of the community.

Weather
Many people associate South Florida with sunlit skies and hot, starry nights. Our students are quite grateful for our tropical climate, especially during the winter. Check out our latest weather forecast.

South Florida Perks
South Florida offers world-renowned beaches, the Florida Everglades, Kravis Center for Performing Arts, Boca Raton Museum of ArtBroward Center for Performing Arts, an abundance of shopping locations throughout the area, Kennedy Space Center-Cape Canaveral, Disney World, Universal Studios, Professional Sports Teams (Miami Heat, Miami Dolphins, Florida Panthers, Miami Marlins), professional sporting events (PGA, USTA, Nascar), and many other wonderful destinations to visit.

Student Leadership
Our Student Prefect program offers our resident students a strong leadership opportunity. Students selected to this program serve as a liaison between students and faculty and have the responsibility of keeping order as well as advising and assisting younger students in dealing with school life. Prefects are held to the highest of standards at Saint Andrew’s School and are expected to be exceptional role models both on and off campus.

Weekend Life
Conveniently located in the Palm Beaches and the vibrant community of Boca Raton, we are very fortunate to be able to offer a vast array of activities to our students on the weekends. Each weekend our students enjoy a fun experience as well as a cultural/educational opportunity unique to South Florida. We also include health and wellness workouts, community service programs, shopping, dining, and trips to our fabulous local and regional beaches every weekend.

Faculty Support for Students
Saint Andrew’s is home to 35 dedicated resident faculty and staff members who provide a high level of extra academic support for 100 boarding students after the regular school day. Our resident faculty offer extra help during study hall hours and on an “on call” basis as needed by our students. During the academic day, students are also welcome to visit our Math and Writing Labs, which are staffed by full-time faculty members.

Wellness Program
With a Director of Wellness living on campus, taking care of our boarding student's social-emotional wellbeing is part of our residential life curriculum. Our Wellness program includes guidance on how to manage your time, build friendship and community, and practice mindfulness in everyday life.

Community Service
Giving back and helping support our greater community is an important part of what we do at Saint Andrew’s School. Saint Andrew’s Resident Life has made it a priority to provide service opportunities for our boarding students. We partner with Boca Helping Hands, Florence Fuller Child Development Center, Habitat for Humanity, The 12th Man Football & Cheerleading Camp, as well as many other charitable organizations.
