A Curriculum that Fosters Creative Thinking

We offer a rigorous academic curriculum with a global emphasis designed to foster creative thinking and meet the needs of our students at each level.
  • Our goal in the Lower School is to open a new world of learning for our students.
  • Our goal in the Middle School is to provide developmentally-appropriate opportunities to help our students make the journey from dependence to independence.
  • Our goal in the Upper School is to prepare our students for success in college and in life.
Saint Andrew's School is unique in its commitment to bringing a global emphasis to our core curriculum. We host resident students from 27 different countries and provide access to international exchanges, community service projects, and travel as an extension of our Upper School experience. In 2010, we joined the global ranks of the International Baccalaureate (IB) schools and Round Square, a worldwide association of more than 100 schools on five continents.

Opportunities for Finding Balance

We believe that balance is critical to a successful education and offer a wide range of opportunities from athletics to arts to student organizations for our students to explore their passions.

The campus calendar holds an array of events that add variety to the academic year :
  • Field trips, dances, school plays and musicals, choral concerts
  • Nationally renowned guest speakers and authors,
  • Field days, homecoming weekend, and Scots Spirit Day
  • Sporting events
  • Community service
Any student, Junior Kindergarten (Pre-K) through Grade 12, can find a place to expend energy and enthusiasm. Many opportunities exist for students to develop leadership skills, discover classmates, and peers who have similar interests, gather for social events, and enjoy time together.

Experiences that Build Strong Character

At Saint Andrews, we believe in “honor above all” and our Honor Code teaches students to be honorable, respectful, and responsible young people.

Other character-building activities include:

Middle School Honor Education Council

The Middle School Honor Education Council promotes the value of honor and reinforces the core messages contained in our Honor Pledge through projects and programs that challenge our school community to think about honor and to promote honorable actions both in and out of school.  The goal of the council is to enhance the community’s commitment to honor as a core value of our school. Additionally, students assist the administration to frame appropriate incentives and consequences designed to educate our community about honor. The Honor Education Council provides suggestions for discussions and ideas to promote the importance of ethical behavior.
A non-profit, independent, co-educational school for Grades JK - 12, Saint Andrew's School is both a private day and boarding school located in Boca Raton, educating the best students from across Palm Beach County, Florida, the United States, and throughout the world in the Episcopal tradition.
