Middle School Students 'Make Big Wins' At Florida Stockmarket Game

Recently, Middle School Faculty Member Pilar Forero took four of her students to Florida Atlantic University for the Stockmarket Game Awards ceremony. In Florida, out of the 11,000 students competing on 3,000 separate teams, 7th graders Boris Cherney ‘17 and Hansen Smith ’17 came in 2nd place for the Spring 2012 session of the Stockmarket game. Their team made an 18% return on their mock investment of $100,000. Christopher George ‘17 and Daniela Perez ‘17 came in 3rd place with a return of 17% on their investment. Congratulations to these students for their outstanding achievements.
