Middle School Swimming and Diving Sweep Championship Meet

The Saint Andrew’s Middle School swimmers and divers claimed top laurels at the 2012 Middle School Championship last week on campus at Nova Southeastern University.  It marked the first time that the Scots claimed all three division titles, girls, boys and combined.  The Scots swept all four relay events and claimed the top podium spot in nine of the meet’s sixteen individual events and nearly every student attending made a contribution to the final point tally.

Leading the Scots were double winners Jessica Conway (200 free-1:59.27 & 100 IM- 1:03.71) and Courtney Bober (100 Free-58.66 & 50 back-30.91). Additional Saint Andrew’s students who earned individual Championship Titles included Julianna Carbone (50 breast-34.21), Ricardo Martinez (50 back-30.95), CJ McCartin (50 free 26.86), Tanner Fuller (100 IM-1:05.64) and Maya Sikora (1 meter diving 110.90).  Other Scots providing major contributions to the Scots winning points total included: Carson FregosiBrinton CoombsCarlos SamaniegoAJ Winer, Peyton FullerTristan O’ConnellGrace CoombsTyler FriedmanChris OliverKarli Friedman and Kate Cassidy.
