Upper School Faculty William Ballenger Receives Academic Award from The National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution

Saint Andrew's School is proud to announce that Upper School Faculty Member William Ballenger has been awarded the Outstanding History Teacher Award by the Ft. Lauderdale Chapter of The National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (NSSAR). He was given the award in recognition of "exemplary dedication, devotion, and creativity in the educational field". Mr. Ballenger accepted the award at a luncheon this past week in Ft. Lauderdale.
The Sons of the American Revolution is the leading male lineage society that perpetuates the ideals of the war for independence. As a historical, educational, and patriotic, non-profit corporation, they seek to maintain and expand the meaning of patriotism, respect for our national symbols, the value of American citizenship, and the unifying force of "e pluribus unum" that was created from the people of many nations -- one nation and one people.
Congratulations Mr. Ballenger!
