Saint Andrew's School has the distinct honor and privilege of hosting South State Vocal Music Performance Assessment this year from Tuesday, April 13 through Friday, April 16. Normally held on a college campus, this event can be well accommodated at Saint Andrew’s, as we are blessed to have the quality facilities we do.
This is quite possibly the largest event Saint Andrew’s has ever had the opportunity to host. During the four days, there will be an estimated 4,000 private and public high school students from throughout Florida on the Saint Andrew’s campus. All of Andrews Hall, including the Roberts Theater and the classrooms; the Chapel of Saint Andrew the Apostle; and the Parish Hall will be used from about 8:30 am to 9:00 pm each day.
In addition, the Friends of the Arts will have a concession stand in the lobby of the Roberts Theater.
Saint Andrew's School would like to thank Dr. Carl Ashley for helping to coordinate this event on campus.
April 14 Update:
Congratulations to the All-American Singers Ensemble, who performed at the State Choral Festival in the Chapel here on campus and received a superior rating, which is the first time a mixed ensemble from Saint Andrew's has received this top rating at the State Festival in over 30 years!
Go Scots!
