On Thursday, September 17, 2009, Saint Andrew's School was proud to host the dedications of the Shapiro Family Lobby and the United States Green Building Council's LEED Gold Certification for the Moabery Early Years Learning Center.
After enjoying a wine and cheese cocktail hour, Board of Trustee Chair, Mark Mariani; Dr. Ann Marie Krejcarek, Headmaster; Dr. Peter Gallo, Associate Headmaster for Advancement; and Duncan Hossack, Lower School Head, stepped up to the podium to honor the Shapiro Family for their gift to the school. Proudly on hand to watch the dedication was Ms. Merle Wilson, Liz Shapiro's mother. In addition, members of the Board of Trustees, Administrative Leadership Team, representatives from STH Architectural Group, the Spinnaker Group, and TF Construction Management Services, as well as school parents Abdol and Cathy Moabery, were in attendance to celebrate the dedications.
