The A.D. and Lucy Henderson Legacy Society

The A.D. and Lucy Henderson Legacy Society recognizes donors who have included Saint Andrew's School in their estate plans. These gifts may take many forms, such as an outright bequest or a remainder trust, all of which designate Saint Andrew's as the ultimate beneficiary.

In 1992, Mrs. Henderson established The Lucy Henderson Unrestricted Endowment Fund with a gift to Saint Andrew's School, and Mrs. Henderson's bequest of $1,000,000 continues to be a cornerstone gift to our school. At the time, it was the largest single gift ever contributed and more than doubled the school's endowment. Proceeds from this and other endowment funds provide a permanent source of income that enables the Headmaster and Board of Trustees to continually maintain and improve the tradition of excellence in education which is at the heart of Saint Andrew's School.

Members of The A.D. and Lucy Henderson Legacy Society will be recognized at all appropriate future school events. They will receive a specially designed Legacy Society pin to be worn when attending school events and festivities.
