Conduct and Discipline

When a student behaves in a manner that is inconsistent with Saint Andrew's community standards, it is the responsibility of the School to educate the student about inappropriate action. It is our hope that students and their families constructively accept discipline and will recognize that life-long lessons can be learned from mistakes. Our focus is to be constructive with the young people at Saint Andrew's.
The Honor System and Honor Code are the guiding principles of conduct at Saint Andrew's.
The Head of the Lower School and his administrative staff have the responsibility for conduct and discipline, attendance, dress code, honor, and student activities and leadership. While Duncan Hossack, Head of the Lower School, is ultimately responsible for matters concerning conduct and discipline, Frank Sagarese, assists him with any disciplinary matters that arise and can be contacted to address any questions.
Complete details of the Code of Conduct, Dress Code, Class Attendance, Chapel Attendance, Absence Policies and Discipline Guidelines can be found in Student Handbook.
