SWIMMING NEWS:
Girls Swimming Claim Runner-Up Trophy at State Meet; Boys Third
The varsity girls and boys swimming teams competed in the FHSAA Class 1A State Championship Meet on Saturday, November 10, 2012 in Orlando. In a meet where there were a number of State and National records broken, the Scots did not disappoint. The girls claimed the runner-up trophy moving up one place from their 2011 third place finish. The boys jumped two places from their fifth place position last year claiming the third place spot in 2012.
The girls finished with six state championship titles (2 Relays and 4 Individual) and two state records. Senior Quinn Cassidy captured two individual state championship titles for the boys.
Congratulations to the Saint Andrew's Swimming and Diving Team and Coach Cassidy for another outstanding year!
