Saint Andrew's Parents Association (SAPA)

The Saint Andrew’s Parent Association (SAPA) is committed to working closely with faculty and staff to enrich the students’ lives at Saint Andrew’s School, as well as to nurture and strengthen the bond between Saint Andrew’s School and its families.SAPA sponsors community events, organizes volunteers, and provides opportunities for parent involvement in the life of the school. The Saint Andrew’s Parent Association also sponsors evening sessions with guest speakers to discuss issues relevant to parents.
As a Saint Andrew’s Parent, you are automatically a member of SAPA. As a member, all parents have the opportunity to get involved by attending the monthly informational meetings, volunteering for events, or taking on a leadership roll as committee chairperson or board member.

SAPA Documents
SAPA meets monthly in the Siegel Family Student Center, located in the Schmidt Family Science Center. At the informational meetings there are updates from Administration, discussion of pertinent school issues, as well as briefs on upcoming SAPA events.

Please join us at the meetings and events. It’s a wonderful way to make new friends and experience the warm sense of community that exists at Saint Andrew’s School. Your involvement will help to enhance the quality of your children’s education and also their enjoyment of their school years.
Project Contributions
The primary financial goal of the Saint Andrew’s Parent Association is to work closely with faculty and staff to support curriculum enrichment through the funding of physical enhancements to the classroom and campus, as well as bestow funds to the Endowment Fund. For the 2011-2012 School Year, SAPA was proud to donate the following contributions to Saint Andrew’s School:
- Upper School Language Lab Expansion
- Upper School IB Development Training
- Upper School English Department Essay Writing Workshops
- Middle School Tech Yes Program
- JK Playground Enhancement
- Book and Equipment Contributions to the Libraries of Saint Andrew’s School
- Cyber-Bullying Speaker Program (scheduled for 2012-2013 school year)
Additionally, the Saint Andrew’s Parent Association allocated the following gifts, of which funds were generated from SAPA sponsored programs:
- Lower School Science Department Microscopes and Weather Station
- Middle School community service day program
SAPA is proud to announce a total contribution of $47,906 to Saint Andrew’s School in 2011-2012.
