Lower School Arts
Lower School Choir performing Why We Sing by Greg Gilpin in May, 2013
Lower School students have 60 -80 minutes each of art and music instruction per week. Group singing, rhythm games, play and movement all help to develop musical acuity in the young child.
In visual art classes, students learn to express thoughts and feelings while progressing from basic line, shape, color and texture to exploration of various recognized artists work.
